Select a Hole

#8 - Par 3

The 8th hole is uphill with bunkers guarding both the left and right sides of the green, and players must avoid missing long, as the green slopes severely from back to front. From the back tees the hole measures 186 yards and players can only see a portion of the green from the teeing area.

#12 - Par 3

This relatively short par 3 plays over water and is guarded by a bunker short and left of the red and green. From the back tees the hole measures 173 yards and players must avoid missing short or left of this green.

#14 - Par 4

The 14th is one of the most difficult holes on the golf course, however is also one of the most scenic on the entire property. A waste area covers the entire left side of the hole, and after finding the fairway players must negotiate water on their second shot, and also again near the green on the right side. The architect allows for a miss to the left into the green, with gentle sloping from left to ride. A par on this hole is quite an accomplishment!

#13 - Par 5

A great par five with water on the left side the entire length of the hole. Players must negotiate two fairway bunkers on the right side off the tee, and from just beyond the fairway bunkers the hole moves slightly from left to right and downhill to the green. Bunkers and water guard the green on the left side, and trees cover the right side near the green complex.

South 9
#14 - Par 3

The start of one of the prettiest areas on the property, this par 3 measures 166 yards from the back tee and plays severely uphill. Deep bunkers guard both sides of the very narrow green which slopes from back to front. This hole plays primarily into the prevailing wind which makes it extremely difficult.

#9 - Par 5

The signature hole on the South Course, and plays from left to right and players must first find the fairway with a tee shot over water, and then must successfully layup to the left side of the fairway and then once again negotiate the water on the approach shot. Water nearly surrounds the entire green, creating a peninsula and extremely visually intimidating approach. The hole measures 548 yards from the back teeing area.

#15 - Par 4

This gentle dogleg left, par 4 has water all down the left hand side. There is plenty of bailout on the right, but the further right you are off the tee, the longer the second shot becomes. On the approach, there is a bunker that visually protects the right side of the green even thought it is well short of the green. There is also a green side bunker that forces a higher, softer shot to be able to hole the green when the pin is in the middle or left side of the green.

#3 - Par 5

This is a long and difficult par 5. Try to hit the driver as far down the fairway as possible. The long hitters will be tempted to go for it in two but it is all carry over water to a shallow green. For those playing it as a three shot hole, the fairway crescents from left to right around the lake with strategically placed fairway bunkers to navigate. Distance and accuracy is paramount to be in position for the third shot. Avoiding the sand and water will leave a third shot into a long, narrow green with water on the right.

#18 - Par 4

This is a relatively short par 4 with water the length of the hole down the left and out of bounds on the right. A right to left shot shape off the tee helps to utilize the grade of the fairway to get as much distance as possible. A large bunker protects the green but there is some room to run the ball up or bail out to the right for a chance at getting up and down.
